Hey guys, I'm considering purchasing a muir cap in the near future and am not sure which manufacturers are quality and which aren't worthwhile. I understand there are several styles, but I would prefer to find cap with a lower peak, similar to the caps featured in the profiles of members #2241, 1105, 537

Try the Muir Cap Company themselves - you cant beat them!

http://www.muircap.com/Specialty%20hats.htm - 1/2 way down the page you see the two leather ones

Hey 2239,

I agree that the 'Muir Cap / Regalia Co.' is your best option, especially given your location. However if I'm not mistaken they don't sell to independent consumers. You have a Priape location right in Calgary. You'll want to check out their variety of authentic Leather Muir caps. Both in all black and silver mylar. If you know your size you could always just order one online. For all Leather Muir caps, I believe those to be your absolute best bet.

Thanks for the help; It wasn't long after I made this post that i had began to be trained in an Old Guard manner by an experienced Leatherman... When i made the post, i had no idea how much of a faux pas a sub touching, buying (other than his Sir's), or owning a cap is.

i decided to hold off and allow the local community to decide whether i ever deserve to own a Master's cap if/when i ever switch and take in a slave
