As straighjacketed has alread said a while back, I'm going for a new Langlitz jacket as a treat mainly but also it's become an obsession of late. I'm being honest about fitting for off a bike and going for medium weight.

What about "fit" though? Snug or moderate. Agan I've told Dave a max of a cotton shirt or a leather shirt rather than the sweater he was trying to push me towards, lol.

What fit have other buyers opted for and how did it work out for you? I'm not putting on weight and happy with my measurements.

Thanks,

Strange.

I went with the medium weight jacket also and it is perfect for me. As for fit, I went with snug and it looks and feels great. One thing I do sort of regret is that I made it tight around the waist too. I prefer to wear a duty belt with my uniform and when I buckle the jacket's belt on top of the duty belt, my waist gets a bit bulky and it is a bit uncomfortable. So now, I just don't wear the duty belt if I'm planning to wear the full kit.

Thanks RealDeal. Agree three belts (trouser, jacket and duty) is more than enough for anyone;-)

I'll be wearing a duty belt on occasion but I thought I'd attach it to the jacket belt rather than my trouser belt. Can you see an issue with that if the jacket isn't going to be taken off? Otherwise I'll have to ensure the bottom of the jacket is high enough (i.e, specfic the jacket is shorter) so it doesn't cover my trouser belt.

Talking about duty belts, there are several ways of wearing one:

1) inside the beltloops of the pants:

2) inside the jacket beltloops:

3) loose on the hip. This last option is my favourite!

If you decide to wear your dutybelt like the guy in the last pic, your jacket needs to be short enough to expose the belt.

Thanks L-Cop that's been very useful, hadn't appreciated the versions of wearing a duty belt so that's good to know. Re-measured and will be sending my order form in.

I'll have to make do with my Lewis Leathers Monza jacket for IML though!
