Lsat event pictures on the Bluf site are from November 09 -- aren't there any more new ones? A sign of lesser participation - or is it incidentally?

It's incidental; there were pics taken at the BLUF Backstreet event in May, but what with moving the site, and various other things, I've not had time to arrange for them to get online yet. It was a very busy event - over 90 BLUF members.

I know there were some from the April Hoist event, too.

All will be sorted out before too long. Hopefully :_)

As if by magic, two sets of event photos have been added this week.

And another two sets, from Hoist and Backstreet.

As a party organiser, I'd certainly appreciate it if more members would bring cameras and take photos; I take mine with me to the Backstreet events, for example, but since I'm often running round chatting to people, or sorting out things with the staff, taking photos as well is something that's not always easy to do.

Do remember, though, if you are taking a photo to an event, it's a good idea to check with the organiser first, and make sure they're happy, and that it's been cleared with the venue. Make sure everyone knows why you're taking photos, and that they're just for the BLUF website.

Try to avoid capturing people in the background who may not want to be photographed, and if someone asks for an image to be deleted, please respect their privacy. It's all commonsense, really.

Very often the party organisers will, like me, be a bit busy, so if you have a camera, please do volunteer to take photos at events.

Nigel
